Thank you for choosing Vitreo-Retinal Consultants, Inc. for your retinal care. To expedite your office visit, we ask that you please print and complete the new patient registration forms prior to your visit.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

Allow 2-3 Hours for Your Appointment
Please allow two to three hours for your initial visit in case you need testing or treatment following your eye exam.
Bring a Driver for Your Initial Exam
For your initial eye exam, we recommend you bring a driver because both of your eyes will be dilated. Dilation can last for several hours after your visit.
An Initial Exam will Determine if Further Testing is Needed
After you are fully dilated, your eyes will be examined by one of our retina specialists. Further testing may be needed. After the exam and test are completed, the retina specialist will explain your results, provide recommendations and treatment options, and answer all of your questions.
Your Doctor will Identify a Treatment Plan
If treatment is needed it may be provided during your office visit or scheduled for a future date. We will send your test results and consultation report to your referring doctor and your primary care doctor.
